REGINA — Regina police are seeking information from the public to help an investigation into a hit and run that left a pedestrian deceased on Friday.
At approximately 11 p.m. on Sept. 17, police responded to reports that a vehicle had collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Hamilton Street.
The pedestrian had been crossing the street when struck by the vehicle, said the police report, which then fled the scene.
The victim, still unnamed by police, later succumbed to injuries in hospital.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing, said Regina police, with more details to be released “at a later date.”
