The Carlyle Fire Department was able to finally celebrate the grand opening of their new fire hall on Aug. 8.
The event, which took place at the new building, went from 1-5 p.m., and included a ribbon cutting 小蓝视频 at 2 p.m. with a community barbeque and open house after the 小蓝视频. The attendees included other fire departments and members of the community who came to show their support and celebrate the grand opening of the long-awaited hall.
The ribbon cutting 小蓝视频 was unconventional with the “ribbon” 小蓝视频 a water hose. The 小蓝视频 started with several speeches that were given by representatives of the community and the fire department.
DSI Construction, which was contracted to build the fire hall, also had representatives who gave a few words. In addition, Souris-Moose Mountain Member of Parliament Robert Kitchen and the president of the Saskatchewan Volunteer FireFighters’ Association Doug Lapchuk both spoke on what this fire hall will mean to the community as well as to all the firefighters.
