Top Notch Farm Supply presented a cheque for $10,000 to the 737 Fire Department. Top Notch Farm Supply is a family owned and operated crop input supplier based out of Fillmore, with another location near Colgate.

Top Notch has been supplying its farm customers with seed, fertilizer,  crop protection products and professional agronomic advice for over 10 years. Top Notch is proud to make the donation and they believe that fire-fighting services are essential and are services that everyone should have access to. Volunteer fire departments, such as 737, can help bring fire fighting access to remote areas and decrease response times.

737 Fire Department is a volunteer fire department that serves the RM of Lomond #37 and the RM of Souris Valley #7. The 737 Fire Hall is located in Tribune but the department dispatches response vehicles from Goodwater and Oungre as well, which results in extremely quick response times.

The Fire Department used the donated money to purchase a new Kubota side by side and trailer, a machine that was deemed necessary for fire response in conditions of rough terrain, limited access and to extinguish hot spots towards the end of a fire.
