Weyburn Grades 4-6 students set to perform ‘Zombies’ musical

The St. Michael School music club for students in Grades 4 to 6 are performing the musical, Zombies, on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.

WEYBURN – “Zombies: The Musical” is the story of Hunter, who is not a bad kid but he/she does like to bully other students. He gets a taste of his own medicine when he returns to school in a dream to find that everyone has become a zombie and he is now the outcast.

The St. Michael School music club for students in Grades 4 to 6 are performing the musical, with Kamsi Ejiofor playing the role of Hunter as he finds himself trying to fit in at Zombie school.

The group will put on one public performance on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., and will also do a performance at 1 p.m. for the school.

This six-song, 45-minute musical is heartfelt and funny but teaches a valuable lesson about friends and belonging, with an “anti-bullying” theme for the whole school community.
