Apples were just the beginning

This year I have an unexpected but greatly appreciated item for which to give thanks. It all began with a bag of apples. Here's what happened: I'd just purchased my walk-on ticket and was attempting to attach the heavy bag to my suitcase.

Beneath our feet

Prior to my arthritis days I enjoyed hiking up several local mountains with Hubby, our son and his wife and the two oldest granddaughters.

You've got a friend

A weekly highlight for us is dinner with our sons and their families. Be it a celebratory turkey dinner or a simple bowl of homemade soup and fresh baked bread, the thrill is in 小蓝视频 together.

The figure on the road who waits for us

A weary traveller approaches a farm yard with hesitant steps. Dusk is approaching, but it is still bright enough to see a youthful, though drawn face, covered with dust. Suddenly a cloaked figure seems to appear from the farmyard.

A dear friend and writing colleague and I were chatting by email the other day when she mentioned having to go back and rework the spelling of a word.
