The Truco Trick Riders from southeast Saskatchewan made their debut for the year with a week of shows in Brandon.

The wall walk got its moniker due to the fact that one entire, 18 foot wall is festooned with colourful graphs and charts that help the administration and education teams track student strides through the system from early learning, pre-school years right through to Grade 12 graduation status.

The closure is expected to end on April 5.

The event brings hundreds of people to Estevan for five days of competition.

As of the end of February, about 43 per cent of the funds budgeted for asset additions have been spent.

SECPSD education director Keith Keating says a multi-year funding policy for school divisions that appeared in this year鈥檚 provincial budget is appreciated since it will assist greatly in preparation of annual division budgets.

Natural ice might have to be used in the arena next season.
