EPS responds to 51 occurrences over the weekend

ESTEVAN — Estevan Police Service members responded to 51 occurrences over the weekend of June 1-3.

Included in the total were 20 traffic offence tickets served, two Criminal Code charges laid regarding curfew condition breaches and two roadside drivers license suspensions involving drug consumption.

Among other calls, on June 1, police assisted a female with retrieving her belongings from an apartment because she was on no contact conditions with the individual living there.

The same day members responded to a report of an erratic driver on Highway 39 coming towards Estevan but could not locate the offending vehicle.

A report of a domestic disturbance at a home between a couple going through a divorce was received the same day. Members attended and mediated the situation.

Officers responded to a report of a person receiving threatening messages on June 2. A statement was obtained, and the matter is under investigation.

The EPS also received a request for assistance regarding an individual who was breaching conditions of no contact at an apartment in the north part of the city. Members attended and were able to mediate a resolution.

Police conducted a curfew check on a man with court ordered conditions to be at home at a specific time. The man was not home, and a breach charge was done up.

Police responded to a report of a woman yelling for help outside of an apartment complex in town. Members attended and determined that it was two intoxicated individuals 小蓝视频 loud and no one actually required any help. They were warned of the noise bylaw and sent home.
