Neither University of Regina team has qualified for the playoffs at the USports/CCAA National curling championship in Lethbridge.
Chloe Johnston dropped her final round-robin games on Thursday, 6-4 to Guelph and 5-4 to Thompson Rivers. The losses dropped here round robin record to 3-2, finishing in fifth just out of the playoffs.
In the men’s event, defending champion Josh Bryden split his games, beating Lethbridge 9-6 before dropping a 4-2 decision to Brock. Bryden’s foursome finished the round-robin with a 2-and-4 record.
