REGINA - The second phase of the City of Regina 2025 Spring Sweep is underway
In a news release sent out Monday, the city said they are starting to do residential sweeps for their second phase.
Residential sweeps will occur between 4 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Friday.
According to the city, over 1,000 kilometres of residential roads in neighbourhoods will be swept over a six-week period, barring weather conditions.
The city will place bright orange signs located at the main entrances of a neighbourhood to give residents a heads up on the sweep.
People can also download the Sweep&Plow App, which will alert them when their road will be swept.
Residents are requested to move their vehicles off the street to allow crews to clear the whole road.
The city is also encouraging residents to close windows and walk on alternative sidewalks during sweeps, as sweepers can create dusty conditions.
