REGINA - Oops. From days of extreme cold warnings, blowing snow and wind chills in the -40s, we could be looking at rain within five days.
Environment Canada forecast that Thursday would be the day for things to start warming up, and indeed the temperature was supposed to hit -15, a nice change from the -30s and wind chills down to -53 of earlier in the week.
Friday's forecast is calling for -4, with wind chills climbing up during the day from -25 in the morning to -10 in the afternoon and a mix of sun and cloud.
Saturday's forecast is for 0 and lots of sun.
Sunday's forecast is still at plus 2, also with lots of sun.
Monday should be plus 1, but with periods of rain now added to the mix. Road conditions should be interesting.
Tuesday and Wednesday following that are forecast at plus 3 and 0, respectively, with some clouds to interfere with sunny conditions.
