SASKATCHEWAN — Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s enrolment for the 2024 fall term has reached an all-time high, with a three per cent increase from the previous year. This increase in enrolment reflects Sask Polytech’s commitment to leading the rise of polytechnic education.
With a total of 11,849 enrolments, Sask Polytech has experienced growth across all training levels, including a notable nine per cent increase in certificate, diploma and degree programs. This growth showcases the institution's commitment to providing high-quality polytechnic education and meeting the evolving needs of students and Saskatchewan’s labour market.
Indigenous student enrolment has increased by four per cent to 1,170. This growth is a testament to the institution's commitment to supporting and empowering Indigenous students. Indigenous enrolment in certificate, diploma and degree programs has soared by 22 per cent, reaching a five-year high.
International enrolments saw a five per cent increase from the previous year, reaching 3,361. This highlights Sask Polytech's growing reputation on the global stage.
