UNITY – The Unity Composite High School Warriors football team hosted their home opening game Sept. 19, with the Rosetown Royals visiting.
Both teams had gone undefeated so far this season, which meant someone’s goose egg was going to break after the games.
The Warriors started off strong, taking the lead in the first quarter, but Rosetown came back quickly to even up the score. With close to 60 players, Rosetown was able to continue with adding points to the board, even with the Warrior defense holding strong throughout the game.
Unfortunately, the Warriors had to walk off the field with the loss, with the score at 32-8 for the Royals.
The Warriors will be hosting their Friday Night Lights game on Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. against Biggar.
