Once again we Canadians have the privilege of collectively celebrating Thanksgiving.

Everyone has their opinion on diets. Every magazine, book or newspaper has a new theory about ways to shed those extra pounds. This time, I'll try to clear up a few of these diet myths for you.

Ed, my neighbour next door, is still in high gear at his farm. Even with most of his crops combined, Ed assures me he has enough work for 40 men to do. He voiced his opinion that as a good neighbour I could come out and give him a hand at his farm.

Dear Editor Prime Minister Harper recently talked of the importance of dealing with the current economic crisis to prevent the world economy from returning to a recession.

With the season of Thanksgiving upon us, it is a wonderful time to reflect on the many reasons we should be grateful. Sometimes I think we don't take seriously all of the things we can and should be grateful for.

Dear Editor Recently, an interesting kind of grass-roots political development simply called, "Occupy Wall Street," is beginning to happen in the United States, and is even 小蓝视频 noticed here in Canada.

It is funny sometimes what I take for granted.

History and Commentary from a Prairie Perspective

Kudos to Tom Loncarich and the Wakaw Town Council for looking into the issue of water fluoridation. I have given serious thought to approaching Humboldt City Council on this issue.

Perhaps 2011 will go down in history as the year marking the eventual end of water fluoridation, when so many cities and towns across the U.S. removed it that the rest had no choice but to ride the momentum and follow suit.
