The regular season is over for the Battlefords AAA Sharks in female hockey, as they lost to the Regina Rebels Thursday by a final score of 3-0. The Rebels got one goal in the first and two in the third for the win.

The Wilkie Outlaws have jumped to a 1-0 lead in the Sask West Hockey League finals. They won their opening game against the Macklin Mohawks 6-4 at the SaskCan Community Centre. It is a best-of-five series.

CARROT RIVER 鈥� The Carrot River Outback Thuder鈥檚 season has come to an end. In the Prairie Junior Hockey League鈥檚 North Division Semifinals, the division鈥檚 top seeded Saskatoon Quakers swept the No. 5 Outback Thunder, 4-0 in a best-of-seven series.

The Meota Combines have taken a stranglehold over the all-Battlefords Sask Prairie Hockey League final series.
