Clinton’s sentencing delayed

Clinton was found guilty on a few charges and not guilty of about a dozen charges

NORTH BATTLEFORD – Sentencing of Drayden Clinton was expected to occur Friday but has been delayed.

Clinton was to be sentenced on weapons offences, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, and breaching conditions.

On Nov. 4 Clinton was found not guilty of about a dozen charges including an alleged violent home invasion and attempted armed robbery of the Macklin bar, assault, unlawful confinement of Rick Heitt, confinement of Willis Kostiuk, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, unlawful confinement of woman and teen, break, enter and theft of a Macklin residence, possession of a stolen ring, and possession of heroin and cocaine.

Clinton is now scheduled to be sentenced in North Battleford Provincial Court Nov. 26. At that time charges of witness tampering will be dealt with.
