A manin his 30s arrived in hospital in North Battleford Dec. 9 shortly before 11 p.m., suffering from suspected stab wounds to his abdomen. The victim reported 小蓝视频 confronted by two female suspects in the area of 9th Ave. and 110th Street in North Battleford, one of whom assaulted him with a knife. One suspect was described as wearing a grey sweater and was missing some teeth, the second suspect was wearing a black sweater with no hood. The victim is expected to make a full recovery. The investigation is ongoing.
911 call of two people fighting at a residence on the 1400 block of 109th Street in North Battleford shortly after midnight Dec. 8. Members located both subjects on scene and after an investigation, a 22-year-old man was arrested. He was set to appear on Dec. 15 charged with assault and resisting arrest. The victim, who knows the accused, did not sustain any serious injuries.
911 call of an assault at a residence on the Moosomin First Nation at 5:30 a.m. Dec. 9. Victim was located and had not sustained any injuries during the altercation. A 32-year-old man was located nearby and arrested. He has been charged with assault and breach of probation and is scheduled to make his first appearance in court in the new year.
911 call to a residence on 27th Street in Battleford shortly before noon on Dec. 9. Police located victim who had sustained injuries to her face and head area and reported to have lost consciousness during assault. A 47-year-old man was arrested on scene and has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
911 call to a residence on the 1200 block of 108th Street in North Battleford at 3 a.m. Dec. 11. Victim reported he had been pushed down some stairs at the residence. A 20-year-old woman has been charged with assault and uttering threats and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 30.
A 39-year-old man was arrested after a report of an assault at a residence on Ross Crescent in North Battleford shortly after noon Dec. 11. Caller reported the accused assaulted her during an argument and at one point the accused was alleged to have thrown a chair at the victim. A 39-year-old man was remanded into custody and appeared in court on Dec. 13 charged with assault with a weapon.
911 call to a residence on the 1300 block of 103rd Street in North Battleford shortly after noon Dec. 12. Complainant reporting a youth known to him attended his residence and assaulted him with a cane. A 1 -year-old youth was arrested and made his first appearance on Dec. 13 charged with Assault with a weapon, mischief and breach of probation.

Report of a garage break-in on 1600 block of 107th Street in North Battleford on the late afternoon of Dec. 11. A Frontier snowblower reported stolen.

2014 Black Chevrolet Traverse with Saskatchewan Licence 770 MVU reported stolen from the Highway 16 Bypass in North Battleford on the morning Dec. 9.

Two individuals charged with impaired driving
Report of a two-vehicle collision on St. Laurent Drive in North Battleford at about 5 p.m. on Dec. 8. One of the drivers was reported to be intoxicated and fled the scene. The suspect driver was located quickly and the 42-year-old man was arrested without incident. He is set to appear in court on Jan. 23 charged with impaired driving, driving while over .08 and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. No injuries were reported.
911 call reporting an erratic driver on Highway 16 east of North Battleford shortly after 9 p.m. Dec. 12. The vehicle was located and stopped just east of the city and the driver was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Police also located a loaded firearm in the vehicle. A 31-year-old man is set to appear on Jan. 23 charged with impaired driving, driving while over .08, breach of recognizance, unlawful possession of a firearm and careless storage of a firearm.

Detachment members organized a “Cram-A-Cruizer” food drive event.
Cst. Malissa Sekela of the Battlefords detachment organized a food drive for the Battlefords and District Food and Resource Centre, and with the help of Cst. Dean Fontaine, also of the Battlefords Detachment, spent the day on Saturday Dec. 10 at the Battlefords Discovery Co-op food store collecting items. It was a successful event with community members helping the officers cram three cruisers full of food. They also raised $588.75 in cash donations. The food bank said this was the largest food donation they have collected so far this year. The Battlefords RCMP Detachment wishes to thank all of the community members who participated in the event by coming out and donating food items. Included are photos of the event as well as members of the Battlefords Detachment delivering the donation to representatives of the Battlefords and District Food and Resource Centre.
