It is estimated there was $20,000 in damage to contents of a house on 98th Street after a fire on the weekend. North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services responded to a report of a couch on fire in a house on the 1500 block of 98th Street.

One person was injured following a collision that apparently involved a car and a moose south of Battleford. The incident happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sunday, about two miles south of Battleford on Highway 4.
