Regina Transit Overnight Warming Bus will be in action for residents experiencing homelessness.
City Hall Regina Oct. 2022
City Hall in Regina is looking for input on their first multi year budget.

REGINA - With frigid cold temperatures rapidly descending on Regina this week, the city has announced that their overnight warming bus will be available to people experiencing homelessness starting tonight.

According to the city’s news release, as of Wednesday night Jan. 10, the warming bus will be located in front of Carmichael Outreach on the 1500 block of 12th Avenue near St. Johns Street, and will be available from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. seven nights per week.

The plan is for the bus to be available at the location until an indoor warming space at Carmicheal Outreach is ready to open on Jan. 22.

The City is working with Carmichael Outreach and the downtown Community Support Program to ensure residents who need this warming space are aware of it and can safely access it.

Carmichael Outreach is also accepting donations to support those using the warming bus. Those donations should be directed through Carmichael Outreach at 306-757-2235 or [email protected], and not taken directly to the bus.
