Apple's latest operating system, iOS 18, is set for release today at 1:00 p.m. ET. This new version introduces several enhancements, including home screen customization options, a redesigned Control Center, and improvements to the Messages app. iOS 18 will be compatible with iPhone SE (2nd generation) and later models. Apple Intelligence Not Included Apple Intelligence is not included, and it won't be available until iOS 18.1, expected in October, with some of the more advanced elements СƵ further delayed until late Q1 '25. The Apple Intelligence suite will be accessible exclusively on newer models, including the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPhone 16 models. Once released, the Apple Intelligence features will include an improved version of Siri equipped with enhanced language comprehension and greater contextual awareness, writing tools, an image playground, and generative emojis that Apple has dubbed "Genmojis." iOS 18 introduces a whole bunch of updates and new capabilities, but we're just going to have to wait a bit for the "good stuff."
