WEYBURN – A Weyburn man was sentenced Thursday to 915 days in prison on a child porn charge.
Brandon Collins, 22, was charged with possession of child pornography, making child pornography available, and bestiality. All of those charges were stayed in Weyburn Provincial Court on Feb. 22 and one replacement charge of possession of child porn was entered to the court that day.
Collins was handed 1,095 days but with120 days credit for time served while on remand, a total of 180 days was taken off of his sentence.
He was arrested in May 2023 after Saskatchewan ICE and Weyburn Police Service executed a search warrant at a home in Weyburn. Police had seized several electronic devices for forensic analysis.
