LLOYDMINSTER – A man recognized as a hero by the City of Lloydminster was back in court to face three charges.
A trial for Kevin Levitsky, who goes by his middle name of Travis, was scheduled for Jan. 4 in Lloydminster, Sask. Provincial Court but the matter was adjourned to August.
In November 2022, Levitsky was charged by Lloydminster RCMP with harassing a woman by repeatedly following her from place to place on Nov. 28, 2022. The other two charges include breaching an order not to have any direct or indirect contact with a woman on social media, and breaching a condition not to have any direct or indirect contact within 500 metres of a court ordered boundary.
In December 2022, the City of Lloydminster had recognized Kevin Travis Levitsky for alerting two families of a fire that broke out next door to their homes on the 4600 block of 20 Street in the early morning of Oct. 28, 2022.
