SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service says it has made a third arrest in connection to the 2006 historical homicide of Darren Greschuk and that no further arrests are expected in relation to this homicide investigation.
On Jan. 24, a 49-year-old man was arrested in Lethbridge, Alta., on a warrant related to the homicide. He has since been transferred to Saskatoon and appeared before a Justice of the Peace on Jan. 26, charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
In October of 2023, SPS reported that Albert Workman, 48, of Penticton, B.C., had been arrested by RCMP there and brought back to Saskatchewan with help from RCMP Provost Unit. He is charged with second-degree murder.
SPS also reported that Bradley Mann, 45, of Saskatoon, had been arrested by Saskatoon Police Service patrol officers. He is charged with manslaughter.
Greschuk, 31, was shot on July 8, 2006. Saskatoon police say that they got a call just before 4 a.m. from the victim saying that he had been shot. He told police that he and his wife had been sleeping in their home on Avenue J 小蓝视频 when a man with a gun entered and demanded money. His wife managed to escape and hide until police arrived.
Greschuk was taken to hospital where he died on July 23, 2006.
