SASKATOON – Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Crime Reduction Team have finished a drug trafficking investigation that resulted in the arrest of two people followed by the execution of a search warrant and a third arrest.
At around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 24, the SPS Crime Reduction Team, with help from the Tactical Support Unit and patrol, arrested man and woman believed to be trafficking cocaine at a business in the 1700 block of Preston Avenue North.
A search warrant was then executed at an address in the 1100 block of 12th Street East where officers located and arrested a 21-year-old wanted man and seized 112.3 grams cocaine, 6.6 grams, methamphetamine, $2,080 cash, an expandable baton, a prohibited knife, body armour, a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, and a 2008 Lexus ES350.
A 33-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, both from Saskatoon, have each been charged with several drug- and weapons-related offences. The man was also charged with possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
In addition to 小蓝视频 unlawfully at large and in breach of court-imposed conditions, the wanted man arrested during the search warrant has also been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
