Suspect in attempted robbery sought in Regina

Police say nobody injured during robbery attempt, nothing stolen.

REGINA – Police are asking for public assistance after an attempted robbery on the downtown. Just before 3 p.m. on Jan. 11, officers were called to a restaurant on the 1900 block of Albert Street.

“An employee at the business reported that an unknown male came into the business, produced a knife from under his clothing and demanded money,” said RPS. “The suspect did not get anything from the business and the employee was not physically harmed in this incident.”

The would-be thief then fled on foot, heading towards 12th Avenue. He’s described as СÀ¶ÊÓƵ around 30 to 35 years old with facial tattoos.
