SASKATOON - Saskatoon Police charged a 15-year-old youth with armed robbery and pointing a firearm in connection to an incident Saturday night.
On Dec. 3, at approximately 9:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 30 block of Cartier Crescent for the report of a robbery. When officers arrived they learned that the victim, a 19-year-old man, had been outside a residence when he had been robbed with a firearm. The suspect had fled inside the residence.
The Tactical Support Unit was called in to contain the area. Eventually multiple people exited the residence, including a 15-year-old boy, identified as the suspect. He was arrested without further incident and a search of the residence recovered a BB gun.
The 15-year-old boy faces charges of armed robbery and pointing a firearm.
