REGINA – It was a busy evening for Regina fire crews on March 1 as they faced a pair of house fires in the space of an hour.
The first call for service came just before 7 p.m.on the 1100 block of Rae Street, where a basement fire was occurring. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported, and the fire will be under investigation.
Just before 8 p.m., fire crews found themselves responding to a kitchen fire in Uplands, on Andrews Crescent. Again, firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire and no injuries were reported, as residents were able to leave the home safely.
