RCMP trying to identify suspects in break-ins, vandalisms in Elbow

RCMP believe the string of break ins and vandalisms, spanning months, may be connected.

ELBOW – Police are investigating a string of break-in and vandalism incidents in Elbow, which they believe may be connected.  

On Oct. 12, Outlook RCMP received a report of a break-and-enter at a residence on Railway Street in Elbow. Officers didn’t notice any damage to the home and it’s unknown if anything was taken.

On Sept. 8, Outlook RCMP received a report of a potential break-in at a vacant building in Elbow. Investigation determined the door had been damaged sometime between June 1 and Sept. 8.

On June 4, Outlook RCMP’s detachment was vandalized with spray paint.

On May 7 and May 15, Outlook RCMP received two separate reports that vehicles in the marina area had been damaged.

Outlook RCMP are actively investigating with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Forensic Identification Services. Investigators believe the incidents may be connected.
