REGINA – Update: Police are now saying the recent discovery of a deceased male in the city is not a homicide.
Just after 1:30 a.m. on Friday, they were called to the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Elphinstone Street for a report of 38-year-old man who had died.
"The subsequent death investigation, including an autopsy authorized by the Coroner, has concluded that the death is non-criminal in nature," said RPS in a media release. "The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service is continuing the investigation, assisted by Regina Police Service."
The name of the deceased person will not be released.

While few details are available in this early stage, according to reports, a man died in the area of Elphinstone Street and Dewdney Avenue.
"The investigation is СÀ¶ÊÓƵ conducted by the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit," said RPS in a media release. "At this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public."
