REGINA – One woman was taken to hospital after СÀ¶ÊÓƵ hit by a car, allegedly operated by a drunk driver.
Police responded to a call at 2:30 a.m. on March 12 of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection Fifth Avenue and Garnet Street.
“Police arrived and attended to the pedestrian, a 41-year-old female who was taken to the hospital by EMS and determined to have serious, non-life threatening injuries,” said RPS in a media release.
The driver of the car was arrested for impaired driving causing bodily harm, then brought to RPS headquarters for breath samples.
Alisha Moman, 20, of Regina was charged with impaired operation causing bodily harm, operating a vehicle while impaired, and driving with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg of alcohol.
She is scheduled to appear in provincial court on these charges on March 28.
