Saskatoon police locate missing boy, 10

Police say Rashad Witchekan-Bird has been located safe.

SASKATOON - Update:  10-year-old Rashad Witchekan-Bird has been located safe.

The SPS would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.

Original story: The Saskatoon Police Service are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 10-year-old boy.

Rashad Witchekan-Bird was last seen at around 12:35 p.m. on March 10 in the 900 block of Spadina Crescent East.

There are concerns for Rashad's welfare as he may be in a vulnerable state.

Rashad is described as Indigenous, five feet tall, 100 pounds, with a slim build, shaggy light brown hair and brown eyes . He was last seen wearing red New York Yankees hat, black and white letterman jacket, grey sweats, blue socks and black and red Nike shoes

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Rashad Witchekan-Bird is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or, in an emergency, 9-1-1. Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
