Early morning blaze on Halifax Street

Residents of building next door displaced.

REGINA – An early morning house fire kept crews from the Regina Fire Department busy.

Just before 2 a.m., they responded to the blaze on the 1800 block of Halifax Street, with Mobile Crisis also on scene helping displaced residents from the structure next to the engulfed home.

As of 4 a.m., crews were still attacking the fire, asking the public to avoid the area around 11th Avenue and Halifax Street as they work to extinguish the fire.
