Isn't it glorious to see how the garden has finally come alive? The cold weather we had earlier did nothing to encourage the plants to do much more than hold their own, but with the warmer weather, it actually seems like things are on the move again.

The Yorkton Tennis Club has released its weekly schedule for 2010. All club activities will take place at the Western Development Museum courts. Play begins on Tuesday evenings with ladies play from 5-7 p.m.

Yankees roughed up by Royals

The Yorkton E&S Yankees returned to the diamond June 1 against the visiting Willowbrook Royals after rained forced a postponement of their double-header Saturday in Swan River. Those games will be made up Sunday July 4 in the Manitoba town.
