YORKTON - It was a night where the defence of both teams was stingy as the Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires met Wednesday in game four of their best-of-seven set.
Through the first period goaltenders Callum Creig for the Terriers and Ben Laurette for the Mills held shooters from both teams off the scoresheet.
In the second period Carter Briltz finally broke the scoreless tie scoring a powerplay goal for the Terriers in the SJHL contest.
In the third period David Coyle made it 2-0 with a goal at 10:09.
Melville finally got on the board as Jadon Iyogun scored at 17:51, rounding out a 2-1 final.
Creig would face 33-shots in the win, while Laurette took 25-shots in the Mills net.
The victory gives Yorkton a three-games-to-one lead in the series.
Game five is set for Friday in Yorkton.
