On behalf of the Yorkton and District Horticultural Society, I’d like to wish all of you a peaceful and blessed Christmas, and every good thing in the coming year.

One thing I realize as a sports fan is a love of a rather broad range of sports, and self-admittedly my interests can run to the fringes of the sports world as well. I doubt many in the city, maybe no one except me, tunes in on YouTube.

A rather interesting decision is likely to come down in the coming months from Health Canada. The national organization is about to determine the fate of neonics for use by Canadian agricultural producers.

Merry Christmas to all of you who will be celebrating a very different Christmas this weekend. We all wish things could be different — and by different, we generally mean the same as we it has always had.

Hello folks. Well, Christmas is almost here and I want to take a moment to wish everyone a happy and joyful holiday season. This year, the celebration will be a little different.

'Tis the holiday season, that magical, crazy, mixed-up time of year when the world, at least in some countries seems to pause in celebration – yet we end up scurrying at work and home more than ever. The season of course is changing for Canadians.

My wife Mahli and I watched a Christmas movie the other night. I’m a sucker for a good Christmas movie. And there was this scene at the end where the family was just sitting around the living room, telling stories, enjoying each other’s company.
