The Yorkton bid for the Saskatchewan Roughrider's 'Riderville' is officially underway. Things got off to an early start Monday morning with a pancake breakfast and different events/activities will follow all through the week.

Regular season team play will start May 18 and every Tuesday following at Deer Park Golf Course with a 5:30 p.m. tee-off. Costs are as follows: men's club $25, team play $15, nightly fee $7 (plus green fees if not a member at Deer Park.

Yorkton will soon have another club available for outdoor enthusiasts. Anyone interested in starting up the sport or looking for some people to ride casually with are more than welcome to join, regardless of age or fitness level.
