聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 The East Central District Athletic Association junior mixed and junior girls district curling competitions were hosted in Sturgis on February 9 and 10.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 In the mixed curling, Sturgis won gold, Yorkton Regional High School won silver and Preeceville won bronze. Springside was the other school that was represented.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 In the junior girls, Saltcoats won gold, Esterhazy 2 team won silver and Kamsack won bronze. The other teams were Esterhazy 1 team and Springside.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The Sturgis mixed team was comprised of Kylie Babiuk, Camron Secundiak, Brynn Babiuk, Shae Peterson. Kirsten Peterson and Cory Babiuk were the coaches.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The Preeceville mixed team was comprised of Calan Hort, Cassidy Paterson, Kolby Johannesson, Mia Mitchell, Trever Geistlinger and Jillian Tonn. Megan Blender was the coach.
