Through their opening two games of Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association (SHSAA) senior football games, the team is now 2-0.
Their latest victim, the Swan River Tigers, took it on the chin Thursday on Sacred Heart field.
Saints tail back Preston Liebrecht ran for at least one touchdown and it came on a called play in which the signal was sent to him from the sideline.
The Saints were lined up to punt the football on a third down, however, instead of kicking it, dodged a few tackles and ran the ball nearly half the distance of the field.
The score put Sacred Heart up 28-0 in the opening half.
On another touchdown drive, which began with the Saints blocking a punt and took control of the ball in the Swan River end, Liebrecht ran the ball into the end zone and the team added a one-point convert.
They would go on to win by a score of 50-6.
Saints head coach and defensive co-ordinator Trent Senger said the team decided to rest Liebrecht for the fourth quarter, adding that his health is always a concern because of his ability to run the football.
"All the time," offered Senger when asked if the team worried about Liebrecht staying injury free.
Senger added that the play was a "called play" which he made while watching how Swan River lined up.
According to him, Liebrecht relayed to Senger that he was ready for the risky play.
"Preston knows," Senger insisted. "He was watching me."
Swan River appeared to have begun to make things interesting when they ran in for a score early into the third quarter, however SHHS was able to block the one-point convert attempt.
However, two more major scores by SHHS, sealed the victory and pushed their league record up to 2-0, says Senger.
Logan Coutts ran the ball half the length of the field shortly after the Tigers scored and the Saints added the convert on Coutts' run to make it 42-6.
Landon Madson added the final major score and again the Saints made good on the one-point convert.
Sacred Heart next takes on Esterhazy tomorrow at 4 p.m.
