Preeceville atoms end league season and win B side of Tisdale tournament

The Preeceville atoms hockey team concluded its season of league games with a win at home in Preeceville on March 10 against Melville with a win of 6 to 2.

The Preeceville atom hockey team won the b-side of the Tisdale three-day hockey tournament.             The Preeceville atoms hockey team concluded its season of league games with a win at home in Preeceville on March 10 against Melville with a win of 6 to 2.

            Scoring for Preeceville were Jayden Kazakoff, Tristen Acosta, Mason Babiuk, Nathan Anaka, Kimmuel Albarracin and Cole Masley. Assists were made by Nathan Newbery, Kimmuel Albarracin and Nathan Anaka.

            The atoms team also won the B side of the Tisdale three-day hockey tournament on March 10, 11 and 12.

            In the first game, the Pats defeated Meadow Lake with a final score of 6 to 1. Scoring for Preeceville were Cole Secundiak (three goals), Kimmuel Albarracin (two goals) and Nathan Anaka. Assists were by Zander Purdy, Jayden Kazakoff, Tristen Acosta, Jace Vogel and Nathan Anaka.

            The next game of the tournament had Preeceville defeating Nipawin with a final score of 9 to 1. Scoring for Preeceville were: Nathan Anaka (four goals), Cole Secundiak (three goals), Kimmuel Albarracin and Tristen Acosta. Assists were by Mason Babiuk, Kimmuel Albarracin, Tristen Acosta and Jake Soltys.

            Preeceville suffered its only loss of the tournament when the team was defeated by Humboldt with a 3 to 2 score. Scoring for Preeceville were Mason Babiuk and Cole Masley, both unassisted.

            In the final game of the tournament, Preeceville defeated the home team of Tisdale with a score of 13 to 2. Scoring for Preeceville were: Kimmuel Albarracin (four goals) Camryn Nelson (three goals), Tristan Acosta (three goals), Cole Secundiak, Cole Masley and Nathan Anaka. Assists were by Kimmuel Albarracin, Cole Masley, Mason Babiuk, Jayden Kazakoff, Cole Secundiak, Jace Vogel and Tristan Acosta.
