Kelvington 4-H Beef Club reports busy month

The Kelvington 4-H Beef Club held its regular meeting at the Kelvington High School on February 5, said Blake Zagrodney, club reporter. With lots to discuss it was quite a long meeting, Zagrodney said.

聽 聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 With lots to discuss it was quite a long meeting, Zagrodney said. Topics included shirts, achievement day, Co-op supper and club speeches.

聽 聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Club members will be participating in public speaking on March 5 at the Kelvington High School, he said. Club members will be catering the Co-op supper on March 28 at the Kelvington Hall.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲e would like to welcome our newest member Chelsey Moxham,鈥 said Zagrodney

鈥淐ongratulations to Kelsey Elmy who placed third in the regional bonspiel with her record book. Good job Kelsey.鈥

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The Kelvington 4-H Beef Club was awarded a $500 grant from Farm Credit Corporation. Jim Henderson and Rene McKay presented the donation to the club on January 28.

聽 聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The club鈥檚 senior curling team of Shandra, Sheena and Chelsey Moxham and Bradley Elmy and coach Carman Moxham placed third at the regional curling competition held January 28 in Carrot River.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The club鈥檚 next meeting will be held March 5 after the public speaking competition, he said.
