Bob Kolodziejski rink tops Canora Town and Country bonspiel

The Bob Kolodziejski rink of Canora topped the A event of the Canora Town and Country bonspiel held January 25 to 29. The bonspiel had attracted 17 rinks.

The bonspiel had attracted 17 rinks.

Members of the winning team were: Corey Tibbett (lead), Robin Ludba (second), Bryan Kolodziejski (third), and Bob Kolodziejski (skip).

Placing second, third and fourth in the A event respectively, were: the Kevin Palchewich rink of Canora, the Sheldon Luciw rink of Preeceville and the Bruce Brownlee rink of Kelvington.

The Terry Wilson rink of Canora topped the B event. On the team were: Sean Kolodziejski (who stood in for Terry Wilson, the skip), Aaron Herriges, Kent Gress and John Zbitniff.

Kelly Beblow of Canora, Ernie Gazdewich of Canora and Kevin Fediuk of Buchanan placed second, third and fourth in the event.

The Zeno Gulka rink of Canora topped the C event. Curling with Zeno Gulka, the skip, were: Mel McCormick (lead), Roman Gulka (second) and Dale Lozinski (third).

Kelly Beblow won the 50/50 button draw and the Don Probe team won the team button draw, said Bob Kolodziejski, a member of the club’s executive committee.

Members of the club are now preparing for their next event, a two-person stick bonspiel СÀ¶ÊÓƵ held February 20.
