Danny Rakochy couldn鈥檛 believe his eyes!
The Canora man was shocked when he checked his LOTTO 6/49 ticket and discovered he won $250,000 on one of the April 20 Guaranteed Prize draws, according to a Saskatchewan Lotteries release.
鈥淚 had to check and recheck the ticket a few times,鈥� said Rakochy. 鈥淚 even went to a different store and checked the ticket again and again. I really couldn鈥檛 believe what I was seeing.鈥�
The happy winner said he has one major plan for his winnings.
鈥淚鈥檓 going to pay some bills,鈥� he said. 鈥淭hen I鈥檓 going to take some time to think about what else to do.鈥�
鈥淚t鈥檚 definitely going to help make life a little bit easier,鈥� he concluded.
Rakochy purchased his $10 LOTTO 6/49 ticket at the Canora Pharmacy located at 214 Main Street in Canora. His winning selection was 21291093-02.
