聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 The Kamsack air cadets have been occupied the past few weeks by curling competitions, a volleyball tournament and with rifle practice.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The Kamsack squadron鈥檚 curling team, comprised of Tara Taylor, Cade Henry-Martino, Keanna Romaniuk and Zach Chernoff won the bronze medal at a competition in Lemberg on February 25. The team is coached by Lyle Romaniuk.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The squadron鈥檚 last rifle practice will be held tonight, Karen Tourangeau, the commanding officer, said March 22. Capt. Terry Eriks of Yorkton was to be the instructor.
At a rifle practice on March 1, former Kamsack training officer 2nd Lieut. Jon Neima of Powerview, Man., returned to help the cadets with their practice, Tourangeau said. Assisting him was Cst. Conal Shepherd of the Kamsack RCMP.
Cadets from five squadrons were in Kamsack on March 4 for a volleyball tournament played at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute, she said. They came from Wynyard, Foam Lake, Yorkton, Canora and Swan River.
Teams were determined by a draw from the hat and most teams had cadets from each of the squadrons participating. The tournament ended with gold, silver and branze medals 小蓝视频 awarded to the winning three teams.
