While students of the Good Spirit School Division returned to class today (Thursday) for the 2016-17 school year, administrative assistants and library technicians began their year on August 24, and teaching staff on Monday (August 29).

A woman who had been walking on highway No. 8 just north of Cote First Nation, was struck and killed last week. At approximately 9:20 p.m. on August 23, Kamsack RCMP received a complaint of a pedestrian/motor vehicle collision on the highway.
