Twelve members of the Canora Keen Age Centre who celebrated their birthdays in July or August were honoured at a barbecue social on August 2.

Season ends for Canora Supers in SESBL quarter-finals

The season ended for the Canora Supers senior baseball club on July 22 at the Al Sapieha Field in Canora.

Three flaxseed varieties deregistered

As of August 1, three flaxseed varieties were deregistered by the Canadian Grain Commission. The Commission notified producers and industry stakeholders that CDV Arras, Flanders and Somme flaxseed varieties were no longer registered.
