The new school year is off to a great start for staff and students of Invermay School. We all arrived back to school on September 1, and were greeted with a nutritious breakfast to start the day.

Members of the Canora Golf and Country Club were excited to plan a new tournament and clinic to introduce youth in the area to the sport of golfing.

An Invermay resident represented Saskatchewan by receiving an award during the first Ukrainian Triennial Congress in Saskatchewan.

Canora Composite School was one of thousands of schools across the country to participate in the Terry Fox Run. The school鈥檚 run was meant to take place on September 29, but due to the school鈥檚 evacuation, the run was rescheduled for October 3.

The Canora Junior Cougars of Canora Composite School continue to have a busy season, according to Kim Eitenier, the coach. The Canora Composite School was the location for the Grades 9 and 10 Junior Jamboree hosted by the Cougars on October 1.
