CANORA - The Canora Minor Hockey Association hosted the Jordan Trach hockey camp at the Canora Civic Centre on Oct. 15 and 16. A total of 30 players took part, including U7, U9, U11, U13 and U15 participants.
Stacy Vangen, Canora Minor Hockey President, said the focus of the camp was skating and skill development.
"For U13 and U15 players they worked on body checking, including how to give and receive a body check," said Vangen.
"The camp went well, the players received excellent coaching with great one-on-one time. Players had smiles all around. We had Jordan Trach come here for a camp prior to COVID-19, and Canora Minor Hockey was happy to welcome him back."
The camp was hosted at the request of the Canora Minor Hockey Association membership "to encourage player development and invest in our players."
