REGINA — Regina Fire & Protective Services faced a challenging Sunday as they responded to two separate fires on the same street within 24 hours.
The first fire was reported shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday. Fire crews arrived promptly at the scene and were able to quickly control and extinguish the blaze. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and damage was contained. The cause of this early morning fire remains under investigation as officials work to gather more information.
Just over 16 hours later, emergency services were called back to Robinson Street for a second fire that had ignited in another home on the same block. Firefighters once again acted swiftly, bringing the situation under control shortly after their arrival.
Searches of the property confirmed that no one was injured in this incident as well.
