Malcolm Coakwell passed away in Moose Jaw Union Hospital on October 10, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his parents, two brothers and four sisters, he is survived by his loving wife, Ruby, of 57 years; two sons, Richard and Archie; three daughters Debra, Carol, and Marjorie; eight grandchildren: Nathan, Clark, Garnett, Sarah, Miranda, Arianne, Thomas and Ben; one sister, Marian Wilson and two brothers-in-law, Gordon Wilson and William Graham. Malcolm farmed at Stoughton for 55 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite for 50 years. The family wishes to thank the staff at Extendicare, Pioneers Lodge, and the Moose Jaw Union Hospital for their compassionate and loving care of Malcolm. The Service of Remembrance was held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., on Saturday, October 12 at 4:00 PM. Darrell Buchanan will officiate. Interment will take place at Stoughton Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to a charity of choice. In living memory of Malcolm, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
