On Sunday, April 20, 2014, Garry Johnson, late of Estevan, and formerly of Lake Alma, passed away at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home at the age of 68 years. Garry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elaine; children, Marianne Johnson (Loran Heinz) of Hitchcock, Jacqueline Johnson (Charles Peckover) of Lampman, Lori-Lynn Johnson (Kent Feuring) of Lampman; grandchildren, Mindy Heinz (Skylar Schoff), Chantel Heinz (Devin Dillabaugh), Richard Heinz, Stephanie Johnson (David Bida), Tasia Albright, Nolan Johnson, Jackson Peckover, Jessica Johnson (Travis Burman); great grandchildren, Kyanna, Adrianna, Daniel; siblings, Pearl Johnson (Alvern Hoimyr) of Lake Alma, Dennis Johnson of Lake Alma; brother-in-law, Lawrence Johnson of Surrey, BC; as well as numerous nieces nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Agnes Johnson; siblings, Peter Johnson, Alice Johnson, and twins at birth. A public visitation took place on Thursday, April 24, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. A Funeral Service followed on Friday, April 25, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Estevan, with Pastor Stewart Miller officiating. Interment took place in the Saron Lutheran Cemetery, Lake Alma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Hospital Ladies' Auxiliary in memory of Garry. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
