Audrey Doreen Wallis (nee Nickel) was born Feb 27, 1940 to Gustave and Alvina Nickel. She passed away in Weyburn on September 21, 2013 at the age of 73. Audrey will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Shelley (Gerald) Hippe and Brenda (Paul) Milatz, and her grandchildren Justin, Danica (Craig) Milatz-Donnelly, Rogan and Meagan. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lucy Nickel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, Gustave and Alvina, husband David, brothers Archie Nickel and Doug Nickel, sisters Irene DeVries and Violet Lix. Audrey grew up on a farm southwest of Weyburn, attended Weyburn Plains School and the Weyburn Collegiate. She married David Wallis in 1964.Her children and grandchildren were most important to her. She really enjoyed their visits and just spending time with them. At Audrey's request, a grave-side service was held on September 25 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Father Gerry Bauche officiating.
